UPDATE!! Educators, look for 2023-24 field trips around August and sign up for your trip!
2022-23 Field trip season is just about done for the year. It was such a successful program 🙂 We had 33 classrooms apply, and provided an outdoor education experience for almost 600 students from around the area. 9 classes won the FREE bus service to and from Chabot Park thanks to the grant we received from the City of San Leandro. Thanks also to Busloop; our bus service was excellent.
We are so excited to announce our field trips for this 2022-23 school year! We have a fabulous addition to your old favorites – a 3rd and 4th grade interactive Creek Exploration/Ohlone life trip. After exploring the creek and a short lesson, we will launch into a 3 station trip with actvities surrounding our Bay Area Native Californian’s Muwekma-Ohlones! This will include, games, stories, plant use and even fire-starting with sticks!
For all programs we can now offer (limited supply) of free busing to and from your school to Chabot Park in San Leandro where these awesome completely FREE trips take place.
