San Leandro Creek Trail Restoration Project

The San Leandro Creek Trail Restoration Project will start in summer 2023, spanning between Hegenberger Road and 105th Avenue. This initiative aims to establish a 1.2-mile scenic multi-use trail along Oakland’s San Leandro Creek. Upon completion, the Class 1 trail will offer a safe pathway for pedestrians and cyclists, granting easy access to the picturesque creek and providing a secure route for locals to reach schools, parks, and the Bayfront. Additionally, the project entails building two pedestrian bridges and installing traffic signals at Hegenberger Road and 98th Avenue, ensuring safe crossings at these bustling junctions.
